Young Entrepreneur of the Year -- Application Deadline January 31, 2014

The  Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes a young person with entrepreneurial spirit who has successfully applied business knowledge. The award is made without regard to race, color, creed, gender, religion, disability, or national origin.

One winner will receive a scholarship or cash prize of $500 - $1,000. Winner will also be recognized at the Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame™ Induction Ceremony and Ernst & Young Regional Award Banquet. Scholarships may be applied toward expenses at any (post secondary) educational institution. Financial awards will be mailed directly to the institution in the award recipient’s name. All finalists will receive a certificate signed by Dr. Evers and Tim Greiner.
Finalist videos will be promoted and shown on JA of Wisconsin You Tube Channel with the winning applicant also featured on DPI You Tube Channel.
 
A winner will be chosen based on business success, growth potential, and social involvement. The selection committee also considers the entrepreneur's age when the business was started and any special challenges that had to be faced, strategic direction, innovation, personal integrity, and leadership.
